I just wanted to share my experience as a non-direct admit business freshman at IU. Getting into Kelley is not hard, if you're willing to work for it and I was just admitted. A little background: HS GPA was only 2.9. These were my grades in College so far:
Fall 2015:
BUS-A100 : A
MATH-M118: A
ECON-E201: B+
SPH-I117: A
SPH-H180: A
PSY-P101: A+
CSCI-A110: A+
Spring 2016:
BUS-K201: A
BUS-C104: A
BUS-G202: A-
BUS-T175: A-
SPH-I113: A
SPH-H174: A+
Current IU GPA (Cumulative): 3.9
So, I had a poor high school record but achieved great success at IU just by staying sober and working. Not more than 3 hours of focussed work in a day was required to achieve this. Don't be scared of Kelley admissions. Just work for it.
