Hi everyone, I hope to attend IU in the fall as a freshman in the Jacobs School of Music. I've been following the mold problems because I have substantial mold allergies, and I need to be in a dorm where there aren't any mold issues. My question is, we've seen three dorms closed due to the mold issues—are there any dorms still open that have had any mold issues, and so I should try to avoid with my housing preferences? I'm interested in a few of the LLC's/themed dorms; would applying for these help me get into a safer dorm?
